REBUILD ILLINOIS – A MISSION STATEMENT
If you’ve ever looked around and wondered: what the hell has happened? That things used to be so different. So much better. Happier. Stronger. Braver. Greater. Then you’ve come to the right place.
You are right. Illinois used to be a place where things made sense. America used to be a place that made sense. Where, if you worked a hard day’s work, it was enough to take care of your family with some to spare. Where people who obeyed the law were rewarded and those that flouted the law were punished. Where, if you worked hard, you were honored and respected. Where if you had an idea for a small business, that Illinois was a place you could live that great dream. Where you could save enough money for retirement and not have to worry so darn much about the future. Whether you would survive? Whether your children would? Where Illinois – America – was a place of pride, of honor and respect.
It can be that way again. The darkness of corruption can fade and the sun can rise again on Illinois. It can be the state we all know it can be. But only if you are willing to stand up and be counted. Only if you are willing to help rebuild it from scratch. Brick by brick. Wall by wall. Town by town. City by city. Until the corruption has been beaten down and beaten out. Until the jobs are restored. Until people get their homes back. Until Illinois is something we can all be proud of once again.
